Step One: A Readiness Assessment
Is your organization ready?
Who can help you figure that out? The Board thinks the organization is ready, but the leadership staff do not. Now what? A Readiness Assessment can help get everyone on the same page, identify strengths, clarify challenges, and create a conversation around who is willing to do what. (Note - many board members, even after proper training, prefer not to fundraise...) It also helps to clearly see and organize a list of areas to work on so that you CAN be ready. This is my #1 suggested first step for preparing for a capital campaign. |
